Ice Party Champions


Kyran Bracken Dancing on Ice champion 2007 and eight-time British figure skating champion Steven Cousins, will return to the Isle of Wight in September to bring Ice Party Champions back to the Island. Following the success of last year's sell-out Ice Party Champions at the Isle of Wight Arena in Ryde, the show, directed by Bracken will return once more for six exhilarating performances.  With an impressive line-up of celebrity and champion ice skaters the show will generate a fantastic mix of ice skating and all-round family entertainment.

Steven Cousins, David Vitty, otherwise known as BBC Radio 1’s Comedy Dave and this year's Dancing on Ice runner-up Laura Hamilton, who has confirmed she will partner Matt Evers for two routines, will star in what promises to be an exciting show.

Also taking part are John Hamer (3 times British Champion), Clare Buckfield (Actress) & Rinata Araslonova (Russian Champion)

Bracken, 39, the former England rugby fly-half said: "We had so much fun last year and we were very keen to come back. There was a great atmosphere inside the arena and we're working hard to put together another exciting show."

Bracken, a patron of the Isle of Wight Ice Dance and Figure Skating Club, said the show would feature amateur and professional skaters, some from the Island, plus other entertainment acts.

Bracken, who retired from rugby in 2004, said he never imagined being so involved in ice skating before Dancing on Ice.
Bracken said: "They both have a competitive edge but there is a huge difference between the gladiatorial nature of rugby compared to the grace of ice skating."

Ice Party Champions will run from September 2 to 4.
